With over 20 years of experience in the cycling and sports industry, Javier López, CEO of DeporLinked, has always been strong connected to sports. From his beginnings as a cyclist, triathlete, and runner, to leading major business projects, his passion for sports has been a constant.
After founding his own company, he held executive positions at leading firms, managing the distribution of renowned global brands.
As General Manager of Merida Bikes for Southwestern Europe, he led the brand’s expansion in Spain, France, Portugal, and Andorra, consolidating sales, marketing, and financial strategies that positioned the company among the industry’s top players.
Additionally, his international experience has allowed him to manage and expand brands in diverse markets, combining intercultural skills with a solid strategic vision. As President of the Spanish Bicycle and Brands Association (AMBE) from 2022 to 2024, he promoted cycling as a sustainable mode of transportation and strengthened the industry through collaborations with national institutions.
